Installation of Country Stone
Country Stone can be installed over any structurally sound wall, with no foundation or structural changes.
Over wood
- Heavy building paper (16.5 lb. weight)
- Metal lathe (2.5 gauge) galvanized
- Scratch coat 3/8” thick, type s mortar
- Mortar is buttered on back of stone approx. 3/4” thick, setting stone onto scratch coat
- Excess in joints are then pointed and Brushed
